Soft Props Workshop
April 30 – May 3
Learn how props are safely created for film while still looking completely realistic on camera.
In this workshop, students will build their own “soft prop” using industry-standard techniques.
Students will:
• Mold and cast prop pieces
• Seam and assemble materials
• Paint and finish for realism
• Create props built to film and television standards

Teen Beauty Makeup Camp (9th–12th Grade)
Date: June 1 – 3

Animatronics Workshop Intensive (5 Weeks)
Date: June 1 – July 4
One of the most advanced and unique makeup workshops in Tennessee, this intensive focuses on building a fully functional animatronic character.
Students will:
• Design a 3D character using Blender
• Use CAD software to create animatronic components
• Fabricate 3D-printed molds
• Create silicone skins for animatronics
• Install servos and control systems
• Build mechanical linkages for facial movement
Students will complete a half-face animatronic with independent movement, with the opportunity to expand into a full-face build.

• Learn how blood flow systems work on set
• Apply and wear prosthetic appliances
• Operate rigs in real-time

Movie Magic Makeup Camp (SFX for Teens)
Date: June 8 – 12
Step into the world of film and television special effects makeup and learn how artists create realistic injuries and character transformations.
Students will learn:
• Bruises, cuts, and injury effects
• Frostbite and weathered skin techniques
• Aging (“old age”) makeup
• Color theory for realistic SFX
• Proper use of SFX tools and materials
• Character design and creative problem-solving
🎬 Final Project:
Design and create a zombie character from concept to final look
