Please note that this camp contains graphic content and is not suitable for all ages. Students will learn to master realistic horror effects such as zombie bites and slit throats, ideal for creating chilling scenes in film and television where blood splatters realistically.
Recommended for Ages 16+
Students will create realistic horror effects like zombie bites and slit-throats. These effects are great for film and television scenes where blood oozes and gushes from victims.
You will learn:
- Building blood rigs
- Foam latex application
- Painting techniques
- Blood bladder creation
- Blood making
- Creating realistic guts
You should bring:
- Chip Brushes
- Paper towels
- Any makeup you may have
- Clothes that can get dirty

As the instructor for our Blood and Gore FX course, Ben imparts his extensive expertise in crafting visceral effects that leave a lasting impact. With hands-on experience and a knack for pushing creative boundaries, participants will learn the art of realistic wound creation, blood application, and prosthetic materials under Ben’s expert guidance. Workshop Refund Policy:
Cancellation by Participant:
- If a student cancels their registration more than 14 days prior to the event, they will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellation by AMUA:
- AMUA reserves the right to cancel an event in the event of low enrollment or if the instructor becomes unavailable. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund.
Other Policies:
- Attendees are responsible for notifying the instructor of any allergies or limitations that may affect their participation in the workshop.
- AMUA reserves the right to make changes to workshop schedules, content, or instructors when necessary. Participants will be notified of any changes in advance.
