Watching these artists grow, push themselves, and step fully into their craft has been an honor. This group showed up curious, committed, and willing to do the work — in the classroom, in the studio, and on real sets throughout the semester.
What excites us most isn’t just where they are now, but where they’re headed. Each of these graduates leaves with sharpened skills, real-world experience, and the confidence to build a career that’s uniquely their own. So join us as we celebrate their achievements and their futures!

Reagan
Reagan’s journey with AMUA began years ago — long before graduation day — when she first joined us through one of our summer camps. From the very beginning, she showed curiosity, dedication, and a quiet determination that only grew stronger with time.
As a student in the Performance Makeup Artist Program, Reagan balanced a demanding schedule with grace. She juggled coursework, freelance projects, and an internship at the school, all while consistently showing up ready to work. Rather than rushing through her education, Reagan chose to add an extra semester to her workload so she could dive deeper into special effects makeup, a decision that speaks volumes about her commitment to mastering her craft.
Reagan’s creative interests lean toward the avant-garde fashion world, where she hopes to create bold, conceptual SFX pieces that push boundaries and tell stories through texture, form, and transformation. Her work reflects both strong technical skill and thoughtful problem-solving — qualities that will serve her well across industries.
“I came in not even sure what I would be doing and now I’m confident that I have the resources and skills to problem solve any project.”
Reagan will always be part of the AMUA family, and we are incredibly proud of the artist she has become. We can’t wait to see how she continues to grow, experiment, and make her mark on the world of special effects and fashion. Follow her journey on social media!
Maury
From the start, Maury entered the Special Effects Makeup Artist Program with a clear sense of purpose. He knew what he wanted to create, and more importantly, why he wanted to create it. That clarity guided his time at AMUA and showed in the consistency, intention, and focus he brought to his work.
While balancing a full work schedule outside of class, Maury remained deeply committed to his artistic growth. He showed up ready to learn, experiment, and refine his skills, proving that discipline and passion can coexist — even under demanding circumstances. His dedication never wavered, and his progress reflected the effort he put in.

Maury’s goals are rooted in authenticity. As he puts it:
“I just want to have the space to create my own art and attract people to it. Do what I want. Not doing it for the money.”
Maury will always have a home at AMUA, and we look forward to watching him carve out a creative path that’s entirely his own. Follow him on Instagram!

Gabi
Gabi completed the Performance Makeup Artist Program with a journey defined by growth, intention, and heart. This semester, she was honored with our Kettle Award, recognizing the student who demonstrated the most growth — and Gabi embodied that fully.
Her growth wasn’t just technical. Gabi developed a deeper patience with herself and her creative process, allowing her artistry to evolve in a more confident and grounded way. Watching her trust her skills, slow down, and lean into her work has been one of the most rewarding transformations to witness.
Gabi’s dream is to work as an on-set makeup artist, creating art that inspires and supports storytelling. As she steps into the industry, she plans to continue networking, building connections, and staying deeply engaged with her craft.
Gabi consistently uplifted those around her, offering encouragement, kindness, and insight to her peers. She is the kind of artist who brings warmth and sincerity into every space she enters — qualities that are just as important as technical skill. Her encouragement to future students speaks volumes about who she is, both creatively and personally: “I’d say put your whole heart into your art, and have emotion behind what you’re creating.”
We are incredibly proud of Gabi and the artist she has become. She will always be part of the AMUA family, and we can’t wait to see the meaningful work she creates next (follow her on Instagram to see her work!)
Faith
Throughout her time at AMUA, Faith experienced remarkable growth in both confidence and artistic trust. She faced and worked through perfectionism head-on, allowing herself the space to learn, experiment, and evolve. The result was a noticeable shift in her confidence — one that strengthened her work and her presence as an artist.
Faith completed the Performance Makeup Artist Program with a passion for special effects that runs deep. Her goals reach far beyond simply working in the industry — she is driven by the desire to create impactful, inspiring work and to keep pushing herself creatively for a lifetime. Faith approaches her craft with determination, grit, and a clear willingness to put in the work it takes to grow.

We were fortunate to have Faith serve as our Special Effects intern, a role in which she consistently stepped up as both an artist and a leader. She took initiative, supported those around her, and remained committed to pushing herself beyond her comfort zone. Faith leads by example, showing that true growth comes from dedication, curiosity, and follow-through. And she encourages others to “put drive into your ambition. You have the opportunity to learn a lot, but follow it through and push to learn more.”
Faith is an artist who doesn’t shy away from hard work, and her determination to keep learning and improving will take her far. She will always be part of the AMUA family, and we are incredibly proud of the artist — and leader — she has become. Keep up with her work here!
We’re incredibly proud of the skills, confidence, and professionalism this group is taking with them as they step into the next phase of their careers. Watching you take what you’ve learned and make it your own has been a joy. The door is always open.
